Our Subconscious Garden

God’s Word: Luke 16:1-9

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)tulip-flower-garden

What are you growing in your subconscious garden?  Your subconscious mind is your unquestioning servant that works 24/7 on your behalf.  Its purpose is to make sure your behavior fits a pattern that is consistent with your emotional thoughts, hopes and desires.  Your subconscious mind grows either flowers or weeds in your garden of life—whatever you have planted by experience with the senses.  Whatever the focus of your senses—the subconscious internalizes.  That is why My Word tells parents in Proverbs 22:6 “Teach children how they should live and they will remember it all their life.”

As has been said—“garbage in-garbage out.”  You can’t ignore the planting happening in your subconscious and expect to grow beautiful flowers.  In your world today there is an overload of planting that is going on untended.  The media and entertainment industry plant the seeds they know will germinate into your life—and their worldview is far from pure and wholesome.  Satan is alive and well and in control of much of the “information” you are welcoming into your subconscious.  The overflowing prisons show the truth of what I am telling you.

I have gifted you all with the antidote for growing only flowers in your subconscious garden.  It is found in Philippians 4:8 Summing it all up, friends, you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.  My Word is the “weed and feed” that will guarantee you a beautiful garden of life.

God’s Question:

Are you guarding what you allow into your mind?

God’s Promise:

Plant My Word and reap a bountiful harvest!

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for Your pure Word that gives us so much joy.

I am Sorry I don’t spend more time pouring over Your Word.

Thank You that I know I can meet You personally in Your Word.

Please help me focus on growing a beautiful subconscious for You.
