Sterling Principle # 10

Proverbs 23:10Abraham-Lincoln

Don’t stealthily more back the boundary lines or cheat orphans out of their property, for they have a powerful Advocate who will go to bat for them.

Accountability is needed by everyone in all walks of life.  Some try to skirt accountability and fly under God’s radar.  God gives everyone the freedom to make their own choices—be they good or evil.  But He is the powerful Advocate that will hold us accountable for our words and deeds.  Because He doesn’t zap us immediately we feel like we have “gotten home free,” but make no mistake, there will come a day of accounting.

These sterling principles are skillfully woven together to provide our lives with a strong foundation.  Unless we make every effort to build upon their foundation, we will wonder why our lives crumble.  Picking and choosing which principles we want in our foundation and which to ignore—creates a shaky foundation that will not stand the test of time nor eternity.

Thanks be to God who is on our side. In His Word we find every help we could possibly need to live productive and successful lives.  Caring for the needs of others, as much as we care for our own needs, is foundational!  To cheat another is to cheat God and will not go unnoticed.  We want God on our side but must realize that will only happen when we treat all others as though it was God we were dealing with.  That is wisdom in action!

God’s Question: Will you let Me help you build the foundation for your life that will stand the test of time and eternity?

God’s Promise: My Word is the blueprint for a successful life.

My Prayer to God:

I praise You for Your wonderful blueprint You give us freely.

I am sorry I have not always followed Your blueprint faithfully.

Thank You for drawing me back to You for adjustments.

Help me to so live as to draw others to Your love.
