Keep the Ball Rolling

God’s Word2 Corinthians 1:1-24  (The Message)

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

My blessings are given to start the ball rolling.  handsAs I bless you I expect you to keep it going—pass it on.  When you go through a hard time and come out on the other side now it is time for you to help another through their hard time.  No one understands what someone is going through better than one that went through it and survived.  I am not the Big Daddy in the sky reaching out my hand to everyone with a need.  You are My ambassadors to offer your hand to those in need.  Your hand becomes My hand to the person in need.

Those in desperate situations feel like they are on death row.  But many times they later realize that it was the best thing that could have happened to them.  If gold was alive it would scream bloody murder when it went through the refining fire.  But when it is over, it has increased its value and beauty.  You often learn more in the refining fires of adversity than you ever would in daily living.  In adversity you realize that you can’t do it on your own and when someone steps up to lend a hand—it is Me lending a hand.  When My ambassadors are busy doing My work—and doing it as unto Me—the world is blessed.

Each person who has put their trust In Jesus is part of My rescue operation.  I do not pass out My comfort so people can lay back and be comfortable.  No!  My comfort is to be shared with others.  So unwrap your cocoon of comfort and look for someone else who needs to be wrapped in My comfort.  YOU ARE MY COMFORTER.  I do My work through My people.  You can be an angel unaware for someone in need.  I will empower you to provide just what they need.   A word—a prayer—a deed is what someone needs from you today.  Keep the ball rolling.  When it slows down the world is in big trouble.

God’s Question: What blessings are you passing on to others?

God’s Promise: My blessings are given you to pass on.

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for this simple and tremendous concept.

I am Sorry I have hoarded more than shared.

Thank You for opening my eyes to the needs around me.

Please Help Me revere you in the way I spend all my time.
