Face Our Complicity

God’s Word: Romans 3:9-20

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

When you accuse another you forget about your complicity. sinking-ship All of humanity is on a level playing field.  No one is living right, not even one.  You are all participants in the wrongful acts of others–complicity.  You’ve all taken the wrong turn; all wandered down blind alleys.  You open your mouths and pollute the air.  You race for the honor of sinner-of-the-year.  You never give Me the time of day.

Only the sinless are qualified to pass judgment on others.  Only one man was sinless—Jesus Christ.  He was qualified to pass judgment on you but instead he stepped into your shoes and died in your place.  Instead of condemning you—He forgave you.  Follow His example.  My Bible reveals the story of Jesus life—how He lived, what He said and did.  You are without excuse if you neglect to read.  To refuse Jesus is to refuse the forgiveness He died to secure for you.  My heart breaks over the complicity of humanity that ignores the salvation I long to bestow upon each and every one.

Look at all those around you as those who are on the same sinking boat as you are on—that is complicity.  One difference—those who know and believe in Jesus salvation are working to man the life-boats.  They want no one to be lost.  Don’t waste any time condemning others, instead put all your energies into demonstrating My love so they will eagerly climb aboard My life-boat.  Don’t be goody-two-shoes but instead step-into-their-shoes.  The world is on a downward spiral because good people have stood idly by as evil has become the norm.  As long as the earth exists I call My people to be busy about filling the life-boats by demonstrating My love to meet the needs of others.

God’s Question: Do others feel My love demonstrated by you?

God’s Promise: The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for this reminder to love others into Your life-boat.

I am Sorry I get too preoccupied with my own issues.

Thank You for Jesus wonderful example of love.

Please Help Me love others as though I were loving You.
