What is Your Mission?

God’s Word: Acts 9:1-19

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

Nothing is too difficult for Me? meditateMy specialty is changing hearts. You are My ambassadors with the marching orders to spread My message of salvation through loving words and deeds.  You deliver the message faithfully and I change the heart.  We are partners—you and I.  As you meditate on My Word—I speak to your heart and send you on missions.  You wonder why My message is not being accepted by more people.  So few are meditating on My Word–listening for My mission—and stepping out in faith.

In this passage I did something I seldom do.  I found a man of deep passions that made it his purpose to persecute, even kill, those who followed Christ.  I went to drastic measures to get his undivided attention.  Once subdued, his eyes were opened and he realized his passions were focused in the wrong direction.  He immediately took steps to change the direction of his life and became a promoter of Christ instead of a persecutor.

Take heart!  Nothing is too difficult for Me. Your job is to meditate on My Word and follow the missions I reveal to you therein.  It is serious business—combating evil—and you are My ambassador to turn the tide.  You cannot change the world but you can make significant changes in your little corner of the world—by responding to My mission for you.  Each time you open My Word and seek My will, I will reveal to you your mission for that day.  As you learn to listen to Me in small things I will open the eyes of your understanding and you will be amazed at what you had missed in the past.  It’s a grand moment when you engage your passions with My mission for you.

God’s Question: Have you tuned into My Word to find your mission?

God’s Promise: My Word contains limitless missions for you.

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for speaking to my heart in Your Word.

I am Sorry I am not more obedient.

Thank You for never giving up on me.

Please Help Me be faithful to following Your mission for me.
