The Happy Ending

God’s Word: Acts 8:26-40

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

Everyone hopes for a happy ending. cinderella-fairy-tale Jesus came to earth to offer everyone a happy ending. The offer still stands!  Only the happy ending Jesus offers is really a new beginning.  Jesus offer is not exclusive.  Whoever chooses his offer is included.  He does not pick and choose who He wants on His team but makes the offer to all.  But to those who choose Jesus He empowers to be His Ambassadors to make known the offer to those who do not know Jesus.  With Jesus at your side all your endings will be happy.

Real happiness is more than just a warm momentary feeling of contentment.    The happiness you will receive through Jesus gives you contentment in the midst of whatever challenges you face.  Whatever?  Yes, whatever!  You can do all things through the strength Christ will give you.  Not only will He give you strength in the tough times but He will help you avoid potential tough times.  During your life on earth there will be tough times—no getting around it.  But, many of your tough times are a result of foolish choices.  Learn from your mistakes and choose wisely in the future.

The happiest of endings comes to those who make Jesus a part of their everyday lives.  His strength will become your strength in the midst of life’s storms.  You need not worry and fret over what tomorrow may hold because you know Jesus is walking with you.  You don’t have to know the future because you know the One who does know.  Death is a part of life and through Jesus’ companionship and abiding presence you can walk through the death storms that engulf your life.  Death is not the ending of life but the beginning of a wonderful tomorrow that shall never end.  Eternal happiness!

God’s Question: Have you made Jesus your lifelong companion?

God’s Promise: Contentment today—happiness forever!

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for Your loving care for everyone.

I am Sorry so many people ignore Your offer of companionship.

Thank You for those who taught me of Your love.

Please Help Me by your faithful ambassador of love to others.
