God’s Personal Visit

God’s Word: Luke 19:28-48

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

In the height of His earthly glory, as He rode the donkey into Jerusalem—Jesus wept! Einstein While the crowds were shouting “Hallelujah” at the moment, He knew what lay ahead.  Jerusalem—the city that had for so many years been the stronghold for My kingdom, was about to fall.  It didn’t have to fall.  I didn’t want it to fall.  But because I created mankind with a free will, they had chosen to take the steps to cause it to fall.  Why was it going to happen?  Because, Jesus said, “you didn’t recognize and welcome God’s personal visit.”  That knowledge caused Jesus to weep.

Jesus came to earth as “God in the flesh.”  Many failed to acknowledge that because of their preconceived ideas.  They wanted a “God” who would overpower all their enemies and make them the strongest kingdom in the world.  My kingdom is not of this world.  Jesus came to earth on My behalf—as God incarnate–to show mankind the way into My kingdom that begins on earth and lasts throughout eternity.  Jesus and I are one.  To reject Jesus is to reject Me.

Jesus gave humanity a “taste” of being in My presence.  I am all about the forgiveness and acceptance He demonstrated.  I am all about letting you make your own choices in life.  I am all about making sure you know the pathway to heaven and giving you the freedom to choose or reject that path.  But only those who choose My path will enjoy the eternal benefits.  Not only in eternity but in this life believers will enjoy the gift of My Spirit that abides within.  This good news is to be shared with others.  Let it show through the words and deeds of your life.  How you live your life before others should give them a taste of being in My presence.

God’s Question: Who will taste heaven by your actions today?

God’s Promise: I will never leave nor forsake you.

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for Jesus willingness to suffer for our sake.

I am Sorry I am not more willing to suffer for others sake.

Thank You for opening the eyes of my heart to You.

Please help me so live that others hearts will open to You.
