God’s Word: Luke 14:15-24
God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)
How do you feel when your invitation’s ignored? Suppose you were planning a big celebration dinner and invited many. You worked long and hard to put on a feast fit for a king but were given many excuses as to why no one could come. You thought they would be honored to be invited. Instead they send their regrets. What would you do with all that food and the table that was all set? In desperation you would go down the street and bring in all the homeless you could find. You would beg them to come eat your banquet food.
Then you may know how I feel because My offer of salvation is often ignored. I have gone to extreme measures be sure that everyone is given the invitation. No one’s excluded from my offer. Jesus demonstrated our love for humanity by giving His own life on the cross. He died in your place so that you in turn would live forever. And what do we get? “I send my regrets but I am too busy with the things of this life to accept your invitation.” Do you realize what you are passing up? Life eternal! Life on this earth has a definite end for everyone. But your soul is immortal and life beyond the grave will last without end. I give you two choices—My heaven—or hell, prepared for the devil and his followers.
What has Satan done for you? Did he sacrifice his life? No, he uses the pleasures of life to lure you away from Me. And he is doing a very good job of it. He knows his time is limited and that hell waits. He has made his choice and he wants to take you down with him. But Jesus wants to take you up with Him—up to heaven and my banquet table that awaits, for all eternity. I will wipe every tear from your eye and there will be no more pain. Accept Jesus or Satan accepts you.
God’s Question: What have you done with My invitation?
God’s Promise: No tears, no pain, no sorrow—in heaven.
My Prayer to God:
I Praise You for the sacrifice Jesus willing gave for me.
I am Sorry I am not sharing this Good News for aggressively.

Please help me to invite many others to your eternal banquet.
