No Neutral Ground

God’s Word: Luke 11:14-28

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

There is no neutral ground on a battle field!  do not enterSatan is constantly roaming about, seeking victims to inhabit.  He discovers your most vulnerable area and sneaks in almost unnoticed.  Before you know it, he has you in his grasp.  Some people hope to live their lives on neutral ground—where neither Satan nor God can lay claim to them.  You are fooling yourself if you think there is any neutral ground on this earth.  If you’re not on My side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you’re making things worse.

Satan specializes in deception.  He would have you believe that to reject God is to remain on neutral ground.  To reject Me is to embrace Satan—there are only two choices.  Satan’s very presence is allowed by My power and choice.  Was I to destroy him, as I will one day, would mean people were merely my puppets.  I don’t delight in puppets that only do my bidding because they have no choice.  My delight comes when you choose to follow Me because of your belief in My Word and My Son—Jesus Christ.

If My people would live out My Word—Satan would be held at bay.  To follow Me does not mean you are now in My neutral ground of safety.  No, you have entered the real battle-field.  Satan will be twice as active, seeking to lure you away from Me.  Daily you must prepare for battle by communing with Me in prayer.  My Word will guide you and your faith in Me will be your shield and victory.  You must never lay down this armor but live it out for all to see.  When you neglect My armor—Satan moves in.  Take up My armor—Satan moves on.  My armor posts a DO NOT ENTER sign to Satan.

God’s Question: Whose cause are you living your life to promote?

God’s Promise: I will never leave you nor forsake you!

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for Your armor that protects us from Satan.

I am Sorry I too often lay that armor down.

Thank You that it is always close by to take up.

Please help me live my life to honor You.
