How to Bless God

God’s Word: Luke 2:21-40

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

Jesus gave His life to be a blessing to mankind for all of time and eternity. 07 Blessing You can be a blessing to Me by simply accepting My blessings and living your life expecting My blessings daily.  When you are on the lookout for blessings, you find them in even the smallest of daily happenings.  And the one who is looking for My blessings in their life is also looking for ways to be a blessing to others.  That is My goal—to bless you so you will be a blessing to others.  Your blessings are given to share with others.

The more you share your blessings—the more I bless.  The secret to peace and complete joy in the world is this–everyone looking out for the best interests of others. The angels rejoice at every show of unselfish care for others.  When you bless others—you feel My blessing in your inner being.  I am eager to share My blessings with those eager to pass them on.  Peace and joy are available in abundance to those who spread peace and joy to others.

Therefore, as Jesus lived sacrificially for others, I am calling you to do the same.  Set self aside and seek the welfare of others, both near and far.  As you have received blessings—share those blessings.  As you share what you have—I replenish your stores—so the blessings need never end. What that calls for is your faith in Me to be so strong as to not worry about tomorrow.  Today give freely of your time, your resources and yourself, trusting Me for tomorrow—in so doing I am abundantly blessed through you.

God’s Question: Whose need of another can you meet right now?

God’s Promise: By blessing others you are blessing Me.

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for this simple way to bless You.

I am Sorry I so selfishly seek my own good.

Thank You for opening my eyes to your plan.

Please help me bless You through blessing others daily.
