Is Your Answer Ready?

God’s Word: Mark 14:53-62

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

Don’t answer every question that comes your way.  accuseDon’t let the questions overshadow your common sense.  You can tell when questions are posed to trip you up or get to the heart of the issue.  Jesus did not waste His breath answering the questions of false accusations.  But when it came to the matter of His identity—He did not hesitate to speak up.  When you get entangled in self-justification you only dig your own grave. But when the questions about your faith come—speak out your answers boldly.

Jesus was accused, not because of any fault, but because His accusers were jealous.  Consider that in your own life.  Know this for sure—if you are standing tall for My values—you will be accused.  You must determine if your accusers are operating out of jealousy or if you have been using the lime-light to make yourself look good.  If your heart is right then their jealousy will want to tear you down.  Remember, dear ones, Satan uses the jealousy card to destroy many lives.  Don’t retaliate but realize your accuser has been duped by Satan to destroy you.  It isn’t you, but Me they are seeking to destroy.

You can never be too careful—in regards to the words and deeds of your life.  Jesus set the example.  He used all His energies in making the world a better place for humanity.  He taught My values that give peace, joy, and hope.  He was always ready to forgive.  He had the healing touch that gave life and love.  Yet the jealousy card was played that took His life.  Just as He overcame death with life—you too can overcome.  When accused because of your failures—confess.  When accused because of your faith—I will give you the answer to share.

God’s Question: Are accusations you receive because of  your failures or your faith?

God’s Promise: I will give you the words to defend your faith.

My Prayer to God:

I Praise You for sharing Your wonderful wisdom with us.

I am Sorry my accusers are too often right about my failures.

Thank You for being so willing to give me another chance.

Please help me stand strong for my faith in spite of accusers.
