The TIME of Your Life

God’s Word: Matthew 25:1-13

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark. time of your life But if he wouldn’t have kept building you wouldn’t be reading this today.  What are your plans for today?  What is so important that you will exchange for “the time of your life?” The minutes and hours you spend today—will they be foolishly spent—or invested?  Time invested today pays benefits tomorrow—and on into eternity.  Don’t wait until the rain starts to prepare for the flood.

The time of your life is fragile—handle it with prayer.  I am eager to hear from you about your concerns.  As a matter of fact, what concerns you tells Me a lot about you.  Are your concerns all about your comfort or are you concerned about others and how you can be of service to them and to your world?  The prayers focused on others are the ones that float to the top of My pile.  That is the example Jesus lived to give you.  And He willingly died to make a way for you to bring others with you into eternity.  Life isn’t all about you—it is all about sharing My love with others—all others.

So live today with focus and direction seeking ways to bless the lives of others. Forget the myriad ways of seeking pleasure and focus on giving pleasure.  For in the giving there is a great receiving.  The givers are those who are out and about, busy making their world a better place.  You can’t do everything about all the ills of the world but you can do something—even today.  So what is on your agenda for today?  Focus on how you can bring a ray of sunlight into someone else’s life and in the doing you will receive the time of your life.

God’s Question: Is your focus spot on or need a little tweak?

God’s Promise: I take whatever you do for others personally.

My Prayer to God

I praise You for Noah’s faithfulness to his calling.

I am sorry I get so easily sidetracked into selfishness.

Thank You for your wonderful plan of salvation.

Help me share your love with all I meet today
