Never Give Up!

God’s Word: Matthew 24:1-14

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

When the going gets tough—the tough must get going! Never give up Because of mankind’s choices the world is on a downward spiral.  It has become a dog eat dog world with many at each other’s throats, hating each other. The overwhelming spread of evil has done many in.  There is nothing left of their love for others but a mound of ashes.  In their desire to be the top dog—they have destroyed not only others—but themselves as well.  Not a pretty sight from My vantage point.

I have not left you comfortless though the world fall apart around you.  I am with those who trust in Me and will be there through the good and the bad of life.  For you see, all things work together for good for those who love Me and are called according to My purpose.  All things?  Yes, all things!  Not that all things are good but I will bring diamonds from the ashes of your dreams.  From the ash heap you observe life from a completely different perspective.  Though the pain is present—I will carry you through the painful times and give you victory on the other side.

I will never leave you nor forsake you.  But will you forsake me when the going gets tough?  Many will be killed and hated because they are known as Christian.  Will you stand firm?  Take heart—the best is yet to be.  Let the “Good News” of Jesus life, death and resurrection be fleshed out in your life, wherever you go.  You may be the only “Jesus” your world ever sees.  Be sure that you never give up but faithfully stand for My truth whatever may come to discourage you.

God’s Question: Can I count on you to stand for Jesus?

God’s Promise: The best is yet to be for those who put Jesus first in their lives.

My Prayer to God

I praise You for this encouragement to stand firm.

I am sorry I too often cave under pressure.

Thank You for the promise of Your presence.

Help me faithfully share your message to others.
