Shine–Don’t Spotlight

God’s Word: Matthew 12:15-21

God’s Message to me: (My interpretation of what God is saying in these verses)

Jesus, knowing they were out to get Him, moved on. shine jesus shine Let your light of love shine so brightly that the world must stand up and take notice.  But, just like Jesus, there are many who would choose the darkness rather than His light.  My best advice is–spread the light around.  Don’t overwhelm people with your light.  Shine, but don’t spotlight them.  If they are drawn to the light—great–if not, keep shining but move on.

The light of My love shines to bring justice and mercy to mankind.  All are free to choose or reject my love.  That is justice—let it be just as you choose.  Those who choose the light of My love receive mercy in this life and the life to come.  So don’t go around with a spotlight–yelling out My message of love.  Goodness!  No one wants the spotlight directed into their eyes.  Shine gently and move on!

My Spirit of Love is upon those who have accepted Jesus message of love and forgiveness. You will not find my love being yelling out and causing a commotion in the streets.  No, you will find it quietly showing mercy while tending to the needs of others.  My love does not walk over other’s feelings or push them into a corner.  My love gives a hope and a future.  That is the sort of light that draws others.  As you move on throughout your life—let My love be your guiding light.

God’s Question: Are you shining My love or spotlighting the faults of others?

God’s Promise: My justice will triumph!  Your business is to be a light, not a judge—a model, not a critic.

My Prayer to God

knee mailI praise You for this gentle reminder to love others and let You judge.

I am sorry I have wasted time judging rather than showing love.

Thank You for Your mercy that overshadows my faults.

Help me shine for You wherever my feet take me.
