Fingerprints of God

God’s Word: Psalms 146

God’s Attribute: God made sky and soil, sea and all the fish in it.

God’s Message to me:

Look up, look down, look out, look in—everywhere you look are my fingerprints.  Have you seen any of my fingerprints lately?  My fingerprints are seen everyplace that gives cause to wonder—“how can this be!”  Sadly, so many take my amazing creation for granted and fail to see Me in that creation.

When you look up you see the mountains, the sky, the flying creatures, the storms—created by me especially for the earth.  All these work together in symphony, to provide mankind a dwelling place.  I did this motivated by my love for you.

Look down at the earth and see the amazing soil, the critters that inhabit it, that benefit mankind, and the amazing things that grow up out of that soil.  Foods that feed you and sustain your very life come from that special recipe I used for the soil.  I did it all for you.

Look out and see the rivers and seas and all they contain, the animals that roam the land.  Again, you will see my provision for you through the fish and animals that provide you with food and the water in the seas that is used for the rains that nourish the earth so it can grow foods for you to eat.  I designed it all just for you.

Look in and see your amazing bodies.  Look closely at your vital organs, all designed to work together in an amazing way.  Each organ knows its job and does it very well.  Don’t take for granted your senses—your sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing.

My fingerprints are all around you—yet are so often ignored, overlooked and denied.  Highly trained investigators examine my creation, unfortunately, trying to understand how this could be—apart from Me.  Instead of recognizing Me as creator, they look beyond Me and find no answers, but still refuse to acknowledge Me.

God’s Question for me:

You are my fingerprint ambassador—will you share your discoveries with your world?

God’s Promise to me:

“For as long as Earth lasts, planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never stop.”

My Song to God:

Who made the mountains, who made the trees?
Who made the rivers that flow to the seas?
Who hung the moon in the starry sky?
Somebody bigger than you and I.

Who made the flowers to bloom in the spring?
Who writes the song for the robin to sing?
Who sends the rain to the earth when it’s dry?
Somebody bigger than you and I.

He lights the way when the road is long,
Keeps you company.
With love to guide you, He walks beside you,
Just like He walks with me.

When I am weary, filled with despair,
Who gives me courage to go on from there?
And Who gives me faith that will never die?
Somebody bigger than you and I.
