No Fairy Tale

God’s Word: Psalms 90

God’s Attribute: (2)  . . .from “once upon a time” to “kingdom come” –you are GOD.

God’s Message to me:

You set your sights too low.  You focus on your current circumstances and fail to look to the future with Me at your side.  I specialize in bringing about the impossible and that’s no fairy tale.  You often specialize in thinking everything is impossible.  How I long to see some spark of faith in you and see you live it out rather than holding back thinking “impossible.”  You want me to show my “works” before you exercise your “faith.”  No, show me your “faith” and I will send you my “works.”

Examine the choices before you and choose based on which will most glorify Me, then step up to the plate even though you cannot see the end result.  I cause all things to work together for good to those who love me and have a higher calling—to glorify Me by the words and deeds of their lives.  Success in life doesn’t always mean a smooth ride and easy sailing.  There will always be rough spots but I am with you and will never leave you nor forsake you—for I love you.

Look around you at all the possibilities of your life.  What passions and desires do you have?  I gave you those and expect you to use wisdom in choosing how to live them out.  Don’t always look for the easiest path but the one that will impact and benefit the most people—in the eternal perspective of life.  When I see your faith expressed in your attitude and choices then I will affirm that decision and bless you abundantly.

God’s question for me:

What is your bottom line purpose in life—and where do I fit into that purpose?

God’s promise to me:

Your faith in Me is the key that unlocks my “works” in your life.
